A grand “Tiranga Shaurya Samman Yatra” was organized under the leadership of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami

Dehradun: A grand “Tiranga Shaurya Samman Yatra” was organized from Shaurya Sthal Cheedbagh to Gandhi Park on Wednesday under the leadership of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. This yatra was dedicated to the historic victory of “Operation Sindoor” successfully conducted by the Indian Armed Forces recently. Thousands of common people, ex-servicemen, youth and women power participated in the padayatra with the tricolor. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also paid tribute to the martyred soldiers by offering a floral wreath at the Shaurya Sthal.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister saluted the brave soldiers, Air Force, Navy and all the security forces who participated in Operation Sindoor and said that India has once again proved that it is fully capable of taking decisive action against terrorism.

The Chief Minister said that through Operation Sindoor, India not only demonstrated the bravery of its brave sons, but also gave a clear message to terrorism and its supporters that the new India will now respond to every terrorist action in its own language. Appreciating the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he said that today India is capable of giving a befitting reply to any terrorist challenge and now the country’s borders are being protected with state-of-the-art indigenous technology.

The Chief Minister said that Uttarakhand is a brave land, where almost every family is associated with national service. He called upon the youth of the state to move forward by taking inspiration from the discipline, bravery and national service of the army and security forces. The Chief Minister called for celebrating ‘Tiranga Shaurya Samman Yatra’ every year to commemorate the historic victory of Operation Sindoor. On this occasion, Soldier Welfare Minister Ganesh Joshi, Rajya Sabha MP and BJP State President Mahendra Bhatt, former Chief Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, MLAs Khajan Das, Umesh Sharma Kau, Brij Bhushan Gairola, Bharat Chaudhary, Mayor Dehradun Saurabh Thapliyal, former Rajya Sabha MP Tarun Vijay, BJP State General Secretary Aditya Kothari, Metropolitan President Siddharth Agarwal, rank holder Rajni Rawat, Dr. Devendra Bhasin, Shyam Agarwal were present.
