A list of ‘negligent’ officers of Uttarakhand will be made, Chief Minister Dhami’s order, those who do not take action will be retired

Dehradun: Questions have been raised from time to time on bureaucracy in Uttarakhand. In such a situation, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami has given strict guidelines to the officers who are negligent. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has given instructions to identify the officers and employees who are negligent in their work. Not only this, instructions have also been given to prepare a list of those who are avoiding action against crime and drugs, so that everyone can be given compulsory retirement.

  1. Strict action should be taken against those who occupy government land and in many cases personal land of people in the state.
  2. Special campaigns should be run for the arrest of wanted criminals involved in various crimes.
  3. Continuous campaigns should be run by all the concerned departments for Drugs Free Uttarakhand.
  4. Regular intensive checking should be done by the police in the border areas of the state.
  5. Ensure strict action against those involved in the drug trade by making a list of criminals under the NDPS Act.

The Chief Minister directed the DGP to make special efforts towards traffic management in the state. It should be ensured that people do not face unnecessary trouble due to traffic jams. The Chief Minister has also instructed the police to increase patrolling at night. CM Dhami also said in the meeting that more efforts should be made to connect the youth of the state with self-employment along with employment.

Along with this, work should be done towards training and skill development of local people in areas like electrician, carpenter, barber, plumber. Police Chief Deepam Seth, Garhwal Commissioner Vinay Shankar Pandey and Director General of Information Banshidhar Tiwari as well as Home Secretary Shailesh Bagauli were present in the meeting.
