ACS Anand Bardhan directed all departments to submit the outstanding bills to NABARD on time

Dehradun: Additional Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan has directed all departments to submit the bills for reimbursement for the outstanding amount to NABARD in a timely manner. In the financial year 2024-25, a total amount of Rs 650 crore has been fixed by the Government of India for the standard allocation of RIDF for the state. Along with this, ACSC Anand Bardhan has directed to work effectively on the action plan for the progress of the project, disbursement, loan targets being operated for the year 2025-26. He has directed the departments to work expeditiously on the progress of disbursement in relation to the approved proposals. ACS has directed all departments to work promptly in this direction. He has directed that the works should be completed in a timely manner by resolving the problems being faced by the departments in distribution and payments. While ensuring continuous monitoring of the projects, the ACS has also instructed to continuously update the PM Gati Shakti Uttarakhand portal.

The Additional Chief Secretary has instructed to start operating the collection centers initially in Chakrata, Mori, the places with high production of off-season fruits and vegetables, and to work on the action plan for the establishment of Mandi, storage and possibility of ropeway in future.

Principal Secretary R Meenakshi Sundaram, Secretary Dilip Jawalkar, Vinod Kumar Suman, Additional Secretary Vineet Kumar, Dr. Ahmed Iqbal, Anand Srivastava along with officials of NABARD and related departments were present in the meeting.
