Aero medical service will start soon in Rishikesh, instructions given to prepare SOP, Chief Secretary held a meeting

Dehradun: Instructions have been issued to prepare SOP soon regarding the aero medical service to be started in AIIMS Rishikesh. Chief Secretary Radha Raturi, while taking a meeting in this regard, has asked the officials to complete the work on it as soon as possible. The Chief Secretary directed that pregnant women in critical condition in remote areas should be given the benefit of AIIMS’ heli emergency medical services for immediate medical service.

Chief Secretary Radha Raturi held a meeting regarding the aero medical service to be started in AIIMS Rishikesh. During this, she has also asked the concerned officials to prepare SOP regarding medical service. Chief Secretary Radha Raturi said that the SOP should be finalized as soon as possible. For this, it has also been asked to send the final SOP to the Health Department in coordination with all the district officials, CMO District Disaster Management Officers and other stakeholders.

While speaking on pregnant women during the meeting, the Chief Secretary said that pregnant women in critical condition should be given priority for AIIMS’s heli emergency medical service. During the meeting, some information was also given by AIIMS Rishikesh. In which it was told that SOP has been prepared for aero medical service. Heli emergency medical service call center has also been established. Work is going on to improve the quality of helpline audit procedures. Work is being done on capacity building of AIIMS’s medical staff and team.
