All departments should make efforts for corruption free Uttarakhand, Dhami gave instructions in the meeting of 1064 helpline

Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Friday, during the meeting of 1064 helpline at the Chief Minister’s residence, directed that all departments should make efforts at their level for corruption free Uttarakhand. In the cases where more complaints are being received in the departments, appropriate action should be taken by the departments to resolve it. Officers and employees posted at the same place for a long time should be transferred from time to time. All departments should cooperate with Vigilance to maintain the effectiveness of 1064 helpline regularly. 1064 helpline will also be reviewed along with CM Helpline 1905.

The Chief Minister directed that strict action should be taken along with intensive investigation on the complaint of corruption. It should be ensured that the confidentiality of the complainant is maintained and if the complaint of corruption is found to be correct, then the complainants should also be encouraged. He said that to prevent corruption, nodal officers should be appointed at the department level and they should also be given training. The Chief Minister said that all departments should cooperate with Vigilance in preventing corruption.

It was informed in the meeting that a total of 66 people have been trapped in the last three years. 72 corrupt people have also been taken into custody. The maximum number of personnel have been trapped in the Revenue Department, Police and Electricity Department. In 2025, 343 complaints have been received so far from toll free number 1064 and website, on which action is in progress. Under the Revolving Fund, the process of refunding the amount of trap to the complainants in the proceedings of the trap has been started. In which at present the process of refunding the amount of trap to 33 people is in progress.

Chief Secretary Radha Raturi, Additional Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan, Principal Secretary Justice Pradeep Pant, Principal Secretary R.K. Sudhanshu, L. Fanai, R. Meenakshi Sundaram, Director Vigilance V. Murugeshan, Secretaries, Heads of various departments and District Magistrate were present through virtual medium.
