Andhra Pradesh: Seven Promotee IPS Officers Meet DGP Dwarka Tirumala Rao At Police HQ

Seven police officers recently promoted from non-cadre SP to the IPS cadre have met the Andhra Pradesh DGP, Mr. Dwaraka Tirumala Rao (1989-batch IPS officer), at the state police headquarters to express their gratitude.

DGP Rao congratulated and welcomed the promotee IPS officers, who had previously held the rank of SP (non-cadre) and were recently granted the IPS rank by the Central Government.

The state government issued a government order notifying for the promotion of the seven officers namely:

  • Ms. A. Ramadevi;
  • Ms. B. Uma Maheswari;
  • Mr. J. Rammohana Rao;
  • Officer N. Sridevi Rao;
  • Mr. E. G. Ashok Kumar;
  • Officer KGV Sarita;
  • Officer K. Chakravarthy.

During the meeting, the promotee IPS officers assured the DGP that they would remain dedicated to maintaining law and order and contributing to the state’s stability. Five of the seven officers received the 2022 batch IPS rank, while two were promoted to the 2023 batch.
