Mr. Ashish Kumar, an IAS officer from the Tamil Nadu cadre of 2005, currently serving as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs, has been prematurely repatriated to his parent cadre. He has previously held the positions of District Collector of Tuticorin in Tamil Nadu and Deputy Secretary in the state’s Department of Social Welfare and Nutritious Meal Programme. Known for his efficient administration and dedication to public service, Shri Kumar has made significant contributions in various capacities. His return to the Tamil Nadu cadre is expected to bring valuable experience and leadership to his new assignments within the state.
