The government of Assam recently gave fresh responsibilities to two eminent IAS Officers. Ms. Aruna Rajoria (2004-batch IAS officer), the incumbent Commissioner & Secretary in the Departments of Agriculture, Information & Public Relations and Printing & Stationery Departments, Agriculture Production Commissioner, Chairman of the State Level Recruitment Commission for Class-III Posts, Chairman of the ARIAS Society and Chairman of the Assam Silk Outreach Mission(Addl.) is relieved from the charge of Chairman of the State Level Recruitment Commission for Class-III Post. This charge was taken up additionally by Mr. Ajay Tewari (1993-batch IAS officer), who is also the Additional Chief Secretary in the Home & Political Department, Mines & Minerals Department.
