Banshidhar Tiwari has brought honor to Uttarakhand with the National Award for Excellence in Good Governance

Dehradun: Additional Secretary to the Chief Minister and Director General of Information, Banshidhar Tiwari, has been honored with the National Award for Excellence in Good Governance by the Public Relations Society of India. This honor is a testament to his excellent work ethic, transparent decision-making, and people-centric administrative approach. Banshidhar Tiwari is one of the select IAS officers in Uttarakhand who has distinguished himself from the district administration to the government level. As Director General of Information, Banshidhar Tiwari has initiated several important and modern reforms in the department, such as strengthening digital communication, establishing transparent government-public communication, promoting the Right to Information and Open Access in government work, and making media management professional and result-oriented. His simple, clear, and result-oriented working style has directly benefited both the public and the administration.
