BCAS: AGMUT Cadre IPS officers appointed as DDG

New Delhi: Ms Chandan Chowdhary (IPS: 2010: AGMUT) and Rajendra Prasad Meena (IPS: 2010: AGMUT) were appointed as Deputy Director General in Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) for a maximum period of five years or whichever is earlier. The Ministry of Home Affairs notified the appointments after the concurrence of the Ministry of Civil Aviation under which BCAS functions. It may be underlined that BCAS holds responsibilities that include laying down standards and measures with respect to the security of civil flights at international and domestic airports in India.
