Patna: In an administrative reshuffle in Bihar, the Nitish Kumar led state government has given gave new responsibilities to 6 IAS officers.
General administrative department has issued orders regarding this.
2011 batch IAS officer Sanjay Kumar has been made the special secretary in the governor’s secretariat. While 2013 batch IAS officer Mahavir Prasad Sharma has been given the responsibility of additional secretary there.
Anand Sharma, an IAS officer of 2013 batch, has been made the additional chief electoral officer of the election commission after being relieved from the additional charge of additional secretary of urban development and housing department.
Apart from them, Mr Amrisha Bains (2018 batch) has been made an officer on special duty in energy department.
While Mr Himanshu Kumar Rai of 2010 batch has been given the additional charge of the director of panchayati raj department. Rai currently holds the post of special secretary, planning and development department.
2006 batch IAS officer Mukesh Kumar Lal has been given the additional charge of director in agriculture department. At present he is the special secretary of the finance department.
