Patna: The Bihar government has transferred as many as seven senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers. A circular to this effect was issued by the General Administration Department.
Mr. Vibhuti Ranjan Chowdhury, the incumbent Samastipur Municipal Commissioner, was appointed Director of Consumer Protection, Food and Consumer Protection Department. Ms. Shailja Verma, the incumbent Additional Secretary in the Department of Road Construction, was given additional charge as the Additional Secretary in the Department of Minor Water Resources.
