New Delhi: Despite having unwillingness to contest Lok Sabha election, Tamil Nadu BJP president and former Karnataka cadre IPS officer K Annamalai has been fielded to contest Lok Sabha election from Coimbatore Lok Sabha constituency. This is the constituency which the BJP represented in Parliament on more than one occasion. Jharkhand and Telangana governor C P Radhakrishnan represented this constituency in the Lok Sabha in 1998 and 1999 however the BJP contested this in alliance. Now, the BJP will be contesting 20 seats and four others will be contesting on Lotus symbol in Tamil Nadu. For Annamalai who wanted to help BJP win maximum is also in the fray now from Coimbatore which neither a cakewalk nor a tough nut to crack.
