Haldwani: Bharatiya Janata Party spokesperson and MLA representative Vikas Bhagat met Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami in Dehradun and requested to release Rs 15 crore to repair the roads in the wards of Haldwani Municipal Corporation of Kaladhungi Assembly.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami was requested to allocate funds for the construction of roads in rural areas from the Special Component Plan of the Social Welfare Department and Minority Development Fund for the Kaladhungi Assembly, on which demands Chief Minister Ma Shri Dhami ji gave positive assurance and assured to keep the approval for roads for the wards of Kaladhungi Assembly of Municipal Corporation Haldwani in the Chief Minister’s announcement.
The State Cabinet thanked the Chief Minister for the decision to get the tender work of up to Rs. 10 crore in government departments done by local people or local registered firms. Getting the work of up to Rs. 10 crore done by local people or registered firms will benefit the youth of Uttarakhand and this decision will also lead to skill development in Uttarakhand.
