Dehradun: The world’s largest party BJP is celebrating its 46th Foundation Day today. On this occasion, programs were organized in BJP headquarters across the country. From PM Modi to Home Minister Amit Shah congratulated BJP workers on the Foundation Day. BJP Foundation Day was celebrated with great pomp in Uttarakhand.
On the occasion of the foundation day of the Bharatiya Janata Party in the capital Dehradun, Chief Minister CM Dhami, State President and Rajya Sabha MP Mahendra Bhatt along with seven senior party officials and workers celebrated at the BJP state office. During this, senior workers associated with the Bharatiya Jana Sangh were honored for their contribution.
In Mussoorie, Bharatiya Janata Party workers celebrated the 46th Foundation Day of BJP with great pomp. On this occasion, BJP workers gathered at Picture Palace Chowk in Mussoorie. Foundation Day was celebrated by feeding sweets to each other with drums. On this occasion, BJP Mandal President Rakesh Rawat, MLA representative Mohan Petwal and Municipal President Meera Saklani said that the foundation day of BJP reflects the story of the party’s growing strength and success in Indian politics. The party saw many ups and downs in its journey but today it has become one of the biggest political forces of the country. He said that since the establishment of the party on 6 April 1980, the Bharatiya Janata Party has made an important place in Indian politics.
He told that the beginning of the journey of Bharatiya Janata Party was very difficult. In the 1984 Lok Sabha elections, the party got only two seats. After the Ram Mandir movement, the party took a new turn. In 1990, it won more than 80 seats. In 1996, BJP emerged as the largest party with 161 seats and formed the government at the Center. Due to the party not having a majority, that government could not last long. After this, in 1999, BJP returned to power at the Center. It remained in power till 2004. In 2014, BJP got a spectacular victory. The party formed a strong government under the leadership of Narendra Modi. This government is working towards development, self-reliance and equality. He said that the Bharatiya Janata Party is continuously developing the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Today, thanks to the workers, the biggest parties have emerged in the whole world. He said that the Chief Minister of the state Pushkar Singh Dhami has also taken many historic decisions. He said that the Bharatiya Janata Party is a nationalist party. It considers Hindutva and sanskars as important. This party tries to maintain its loyalty towards Indian culture and Indian traditions. The dream of self-reliant India has been seen under the leadership of BJP. It gives priority to the progress of the country in areas like economic development, education, cleanliness and national security.
