BJP’s stance on the questions raised in the Ankita Bhandari case, MLA Khajan Das makes a big statement, accuses Congress

Dehradun: The BJP has now come forward regarding the uproar over the Ankita Bhandari murder case in Uttarakhand for the past week. After the statement by BJP state president Mahendra Bhatt, senior party MLA Khajan Das has now stepped forward. MLA Khajan Das held a press conference today to present the BJP’s side on the entire controversy. He also leveled serious allegations against the Congress.

BJP MLA Khajan Das called the entire matter a well-planned conspiracy. He also termed the Congress’s role in it as highly objectionable. He said that extremely obscene and objectionable things are being said in the case. The Congress state president also propagated this in Delhi. This is an insult to a senior Dalit leader of the BJP. It is also an injustice to the soul of Ankita Bhandari, the daughter of Uttarakhand, after her death.

No attempt is being made to protect the culprit: MLA Khajan Das said that a criminal has no caste, and they are not trying to protect any criminal. He said that an SIT investigation has been conducted in this case before. After the investigation, the culprits were given the harshest possible punishment. Even now, if there is any talk of an investigation, the BJP and the government are certainly fully prepared for it.

The image of senior BJP leaders is being tarnished: He said that just as in the past, the names of senior BJP leaders were linked to this incident under a conspiracy, and nothing was presented as evidence, similarly, this time too, the image of senior BJP leaders is being tarnished through a media trial, which is unacceptable under any circumstances.

Serious allegations leveled against Congress: BJP MLA Khajan Das alleged that this act of the Congress shows its attitude towards the Dalit community. The Congress has committed atrocities against the Dalit community in the past as well. They are still showing this mindset. He also said that the entire Dalit community of the state is extremely angry due to this politics of allegations and counter-allegations by the Congress. If anyone has evidence, they should present it in court: He said that such allegations are surfacing so long after the incident, which itself suggests that they are part of a conspiracy. MLA Khajan Das said that if anyone has any evidence, they should present it in court, instead of circulating it on social media.
