Dehradun: The government has made bumper promotions in the energy corporations of Uttarakhand. Homework was being done at the government level for a long time regarding promotion in the corporations. In such a situation, during the DPC meeting on Saturday, 27 names were given the green signal for promotion in all three corporations.
Today was a day of great news for the energy corporations in Uttarakhand. Green signal was given for the promotion of officers in relation to the vacant posts in the three corporations of the state. During the DPC meeting chaired by Chief Secretary Anand Vardhan, many names were discussed, after which approval was given to promote 27 employees.
The special thing was that Chief Secretary Anand Vardhan had reached the office of Uttarakhand Power Corporation Limited for the DPC meeting, where during the meeting of the Departmental Selection Committee with the concerned officials, names were discussed on the basis of seniority in promotion to various vacant posts.
Apart from the Chief Secretary, Additional Secretary Energy, Additional Secretary Industrial Development and Managing Directors of all three corporations were also present in the meeting. In the meeting of the Departmental Selection Committee, promotion of officers was done for the existing vacant posts including the vacancies to be caused till 30 June 2026. In this, 14 officers of Uttarakhand Power Corporation Limited were promoted,
Apart from this, 10 officers of Power Transmission Corporation of Uttarakhand Limited were promoted, while three officers of Uttarakhand Jal Vidyut Nigam Limited were also given the green signal for promotion.
These people got promotion in Uttarakhand Power Corporation Limited:
• Sanjay Kumar Tamta was promoted to the post of Executive Director Technical in Uttarakhand Power Corporation Limited.
• Similarly, Brijmohan Singh Parmar, Rajkumar, Diwan Singh Khati were promoted to Chief Engineer Level One.
• Narendra Singh Bisht, Amit Kumar and Rahul Jain got promotion to Chief Engineer Level Two.
• Vishal Singh Rana, Vivek Rajput, Arun Kant, Mohammad Salim, Pradeep Kumar Pant were promoted to the post of Superintending Engineer.
• Similarly, Jitendra Singh and Surendra Kumar Bhatia were promoted to the post of Deputy General Manager Human Resources.
These people got promotion in Power Transmission Corporation of Uttarakhand Limited:
• Ila Chandra to the post of Chief Engineer Level 1 in Power Transmission Corporation of Uttarakhand Limited.
• Pankaj Kumar, Mant Ram, and Lalit Mohan Bisht were promoted to the post of Chief Engineer Level 2.
• Balwant Singh, Ashok Kumar, Santosh Vashisht, Mahesh Rawat and Pramod Kumar Dhyani were promoted as Superintending Engineers.
• Similarly, Vivekanand has been promoted to the post of Deputy General Manager Human Resources.

It was decided to promote Vinod Kumar Nainwal to the post of Deputy General Manager Accounts, Neeraj Jain to the post of General Manager Accounts and Rajesh Chandra to the post of General Manager Personnel and Industrial in Uttarakhand Jal Vidyut Nigam Limited.
