Dehradun: Expressing happiness over the unopposed victory of a large number of party candidates on the posts of District Panchayat President and Block Pramukh, the BJP said that with this not only the public has approved the development policy of CM Pushkar Singh Dhami, but has also paved the way for further speeding up development.

State President and Rajya Sabha MP Mahendra Bhatt has expressed gratitude to the concerned elected panchayat representatives, calling it the beginning of the triple engine of development in the villages. Bhatt described the victory of a large number of party candidates on the day of nomination as much anticipated and said that one thing was already clear that the rural people of the state would use their votes only for regional development.
This intention of the voters became decisive for all the elected representatives and in many district panchayats and area panchayats, no one filed nomination against the BJP. BJP expresses its gratitude to all such public representatives while respecting their spirit of installing triple engine of development. He expressed confidence that in the same way, the development vote of the voters is going to be very important in all the remaining seats in the election process. Therefore, BJP will win all the District Panchayat President and majority of Block Pramukh seats.

State Media Incharge Manveer Chauhan expressed satisfaction over the nomination process of the Area Panchayat Chiefs and District Panchayat President and expressed happiness over the unopposed victory of the party candidates and said that this will further increase prosperity in the villages.
Giving information, he said that today the authorized candidates of the party have filed nominations for all 12 District Panchayat President posts and 83 Block Pramukh posts. It is a matter of great happiness that Ramesh Chauhan in Uttarkashi, Anand Singh Adhikari in Champawat, Ajay Maurya in Udyam Singh Nagar and Jitendra Prasad in Pithoragarh have registered unopposed victory on the post of District Panchayat President.
Similarly, the BJP flag has been hoisted with the sole candidature on 11 seats of Area Panchayat Chiefs. The party is implementing a pre-determined strategy to ensure the victory of its candidates and workers on the remaining Panchayat President and Pramukh posts.
These include Ramesh Chauhan from Uttarkashi, Jitendra Prasad from Pithoragarh, Ajay Maurya from Udham Singh Nagar and Anand Singh Adhikari from Champawat as District Panchayat Presidents.
He said that similarly the BJP flag was hoisted on the Block Pramukh posts, where Anchala Bora from Champawat, Chandraprabha from Kashipur, Upkar Singh from Sitarganj, Sarita Rana from Khatima, Mamta Panwar from Bhatwadi, Rajdeep Parmar from Dunda, Rajesh Nautiyal from Jakhnidhar, Suman Sajwan from Chamba, Narayan Thakur from Vikasnagar, Lata Devi from Pabau and Meenakshi Arya from Takula were elected unopposed.
