Mudit Srivastava, an Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer from the 2008 batch, has been appointed as the Internal Financial Adviser (Director level) at the Heavy Water Board, Mumbai. The appointment follows a recommendation by the Department of Revenue for central deputation.
According to an official order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Friday, Srivastava’s tenure will last for five years, beginning from the date he assumes charge of the position or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Srivastava’s appointment comes under the Central Staffing Scheme, and it is expected that his expertise will significantly contribute to the financial management and operations of the Heavy Water Board, an important entity under the Department of Atomic Energy.
