CHAR DHAM YATRA: e-Swasthya Dham App for the convenience of Chardham pilgrims – CS Smt Radha Raturi

Dehradun:  CS Smt. Radha Raturi has informed that the Health Department, Wish Foundation and Hans Foundation have launched the e-Swasthya Dham App for the pilgrims coming on the Chardham Yatra. All the pilgrims have to upload their health data on the e-Swasthya Dham App. The Health Department will conduct health screening of pilgrims at various places. Along with the doctors of the Health Department, doctors of Hans and Wish Foundation will also be present at these screening points. Health screening of pilgrims above 50 years of age will be done compulsorily.  During the meeting of the Health and Tourism Department in the Secretariat, Chief Secretary Smt. Radha Raturi has instructed the officials of the Health and Tourism Department to make the pilgrims coming on the Chardham Yatra aware to provide information about their medical history during registration. Media has a very important role in this. The Chief Secretary said that if the pilgrims provide their correct medical history during registration, it will help the administration to provide medical assistance to the pilgrims during any emergency. The availability of medical history of the pilgrims will also help the administration in better management of its medical resources. He said that the administration is committed to providing safe and smooth Chardham Yatra to the pilgrims.

Secretary Shri Sachin Kurve, Additional Secretary Dr. Amandeep Kaur along with other officers and district administration officials were present in the meeting  virtually.
