Chhattisgarh: 4 IAS & 3 IPS Transferred, Shyamlal Dhavade Appointed MD, Chhattisgarh State Marketing Corporation

In a strategic move preceding the upcoming Chhattisgarh Assembly session, the state government has transferred 4 IAS and 3 IPS officers.

2008 batch IAS officer Shyamlal Dhavade assumes the role of Managing Director at Chhattisgarh State Marketing Corporation, while Doman Singh, an IAS officer of 2009 batch, takes charge as Commissioner of Bastar Division.

2013 batch IAS officer Vinit Nandanwar has been appointed Joint Secretary in the Ministry, and Abhishek Agarwal will serve as Deputy Secretary.

In parallel, the reshuffle of IPS officers saw three officers transferred to critical posts. Prafull Thakur, previously Superintendent of Police responsible for the Chief Minister’s Security, transitions to Mana Reserve Battalion.

1996 batch IPS officer Lal Umend Singh, SP of Balrampur, now assumes responsibility for CM security. Rajesh Agarwal has been appointed SP of Balrampur district.

These strategic appointments underscore the government’s proactive approach to ensuring efficient governance and effective security measures ahead of crucial legislative sessions.
