Chhattisgarh Government Transfers Four IAS Officers, Abhijeet Singh Given Charge Of Health Education

The Chhattisgarh Government has issued transfer orders for four Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers, assigning them new responsibilities. As per the orders from the General Administration, the officers affected by the transfer include Abhijeet Singh (2012 batch), Prabhat Malik (2015 batch), Prakhar Chandrakar (2022 batch), and Namrata Choubey (2022 batch).

Abhijeet Singh, who is currently the Joint Secretary in the Home and Jail Department, has been given the additional charge of Joint Secretary in the Health Education Department. Similarly, Prabhat Malik, presently serving as the CEO of Chhattisgarh Infotech Promotion Society (CHIPS), has been assigned the additional role of Joint Secretary in the Department of Electronics and Information Technology.

Meanwhile, the 2022 batch probationary officers have also received new postings. Prakhar Chandrakar, the current Assistant Collector in Kanker, has been appointed as the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Sarangarh. Namrata Choubey, who was serving as the Assistant Collector in Baloda Bazar, will now take on the role of SDM in Saraipali, Mahasamund district. These officers will soon assume their new duties following the state government’s directive.
