Gairsain: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and Assembly Speaker Smt. Ritu Khanduri Bhushan planted saplings in Gairsain (Bharadisain) under the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign.
Cabinet Ministers Satpal Maharaj, Subodh Uniyal, Smt. Rekha Arya, Saurabh Bahuguna, Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan, Additional Chief Secretary R.K. Sudhanshu, DGP Deepam Seth and Chief Forest Conservator Half Sameer Sinha also planted saplings on the occasion under the Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam campaign.
The Chief Minister appealed to the people of the state that every citizen must plant at least one sapling in his life. He said that this campaign is an important step towards environmental protection, climate balance and safe future of future generations.
