Chief Minister approved an amount of 1.35 crores for various districts to protect against cold wave in the state

Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, in the light of the rules/directives of the Government of India and the State Government for lighting bonfires and distributing blankets to protect against cold wave, like previous years, in this financial year 2024-25 also, out of all the districts of the state, ₹ 10.00 lakh per district and ₹ 15.00 lakh to Pauri Garhwal, thus a total amount of ₹ 135.00 lakh (₹ one crore thirty five lakhs only).

The Chief Minister has approved naming the Government Industrial Training Institute, Askot of Pithoragarh district after Shaheed Naik Sainik Khushal Singh Adhikari (Army Medal).
