Pithoragarh: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, who arrived on a day-long visit to the Munsyari development block, was warmly welcomed by District Magistrate Ashish Kumar Bhatgangai with a bouquet of flowers upon his arrival at the Munsyari helipad (Government Girls Inter College, GGIC). The police force presented a guard of honor to Chief Minister Dhami.
Following the grand welcome, Chief Minister Dhami accepted the greetings of the large number of mothers, sisters, and local citizens of the Munsyari area. He met with the people cordially and expressed gratitude for their love and support.
The Chief Minister stated that the state government’s goal is to ensure that the light of development reaches every person and that the people of the border areas have access to basic amenities. He assured the public that the government is continuously committed to the overall development of the border areas.
Following this, Chief Minister Dhami visited the ITBP’s 14th Battalion, Munsyari Post. He was presented with a guard of honor by the soldiers there. The Chief Minister met with the soldiers and praised their contribution to border security, saying, “Your sacrifice, discipline, and dedication are the reason the country is safe.” He extended the state government’s best wishes to the ITBP officers and soldiers.
Chief Minister Dhami then met with local public representatives, social workers, and citizens. He discussed ongoing development projects, public issues, and infrastructure needs in the area in detail and directed officials to expedite public welfare work.
During the visit, Chief Minister Dhami also met with old college friends. He shared fond memories, took souvenir selfies with them, and inquired about the well-being of their families and extended his best wishes.
The Chief Minister’s visit created an atmosphere of excitement in the Munsyari area. Local citizens said that Chief Minister Dhami’s affectionate and outreach-filled visit was inspiring and encouraging for the people of the border region.
