‘Chief Minister Empowered Sister Festival Scheme’ program in Dehradun, CM Dhami distributed cheques to women

Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the state level program under ‘Chief Minister Empowered Sister Festival Scheme’ and ‘Chief Minister Women Self Help Group Empowerment Scheme’. During this, CM Dhami also handed over cheques to the beneficiary women. At the same time, BJP Mahila Morcha workers tied Rakhi to CM Pushkar Singh Dhami.

CM Pushkar Dhami, in his address, congratulated the women on the festival of Rakshabandhan, a symbol of the unbreakable bond of affection between brother and sister. He said that this festival also makes us aware of social duties. Be it the field of education or health or any other field, our government is trying to ensure maximum participation of women in every field.

Women’s products are leaving behind the products of multinational companies

CM Dhami said that the women of every district of the state have so much skill that today the products made by them are leaving behind the products of multinational companies. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said that the third decade of the 21st century will belong to Uttarakhand. In such a situation, he is confident that women power will contribute the most in achieving this goal.

Women are being empowered with ‘Lakhpati Didi Yojana’

He further said that women empowerment is not limited to giving rights only, it is an effort to recognize the talent and potential hidden within women. ‘Lakhpati Didi Yojana’ was started to empower the women of Uttarakhand. The happy thing is that today we are moving ahead of the set target.

Products will reach the world from ‘House of Himalaya’

CM Dhami said that Prime Minister Modi had inaugurated the ‘House of Himalaya’ recently so that the products made by the women of Uttarakhand get a center. Now the products made by the women of our state will go to every corner of the world.
