Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami celebrated Karva Chauth with traditional devotion and enthusiasm at the Chief Minister’s residence today with his wife, Mrs. Geeta Dhami. The Chief Minister couple performed the rituals and prayed to Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati for the happiness, peace, health, and prosperity of all the people of the state.
At night, Mrs. Geeta Dhami concluded the Karva Chauth fast with Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami by offering prayers to the moon.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami extended his heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the people of the state on Karva Chauth. The Chief Minister said, “Karva Chauth is a festival symbolizing the unwavering faith, love, sacrifice, and dedication of Indian women. This festival further strengthens the bonds of trust, love, and unity in family life. Women hold a paramount place in our culture, and festivals like Karva Chauth keep alive the beautiful traditions of our cultural life.” The Chief Minister wished that this festival brings happiness, prosperity, and harmony to everyone’s lives.
