Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan chaired a meeting to develop Uttarakhand by 2047

Dehradun: Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan chaired a progress review meeting with officials from the CPPGG (Center for Public Policy and Good Governance) and SETU (State Institute for Empowering and Transforming) to develop Uttarakhand by 2047. Members of the SETU Commission presented information on the progress made in this regard through presentations.

The Chief Secretary directed the officials from the CPPGG and SETU Commission to establish benchmarks and indicators for various dimensions of developing Uttarakhand. He also directed them to share these benchmarks and indicators with the relevant departmental secretaries and incorporate any suggestions received in this regard into the plan.

The Chief Secretary directed that the plan should include financially self-reliant local bodies and panchayats and population data. Additionally, the indicators should also incorporate field experiences and suggestions from various departments and experts, and ensure progress on projects is completed within the stipulated timeline.

Principal Secretary R. Meenakshi Sundaram, Secretary Planning Sridhar Babu Adanki, Director Bridge Planning Manoj Pant, and other relevant officials were present at the meeting.
