Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan chaired a review meeting for the Secretary of Coordination and the Resolution of District-Related Issues

Dehradun: A review meeting for the Secretary of Coordination and the Resolution of District-Related Issues was held under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan. The meeting featured extensive discussions on various development issues in the state, and the Chief Secretary directed the concerned officials to address various issues related to district development. The Chief Secretary directed all districts to ensure compliance with the instructions regarding the proper management of stray dogs.

Regarding helipads, he directed that wherever there are discrepancies in the coordinates, a site inspection should be conducted and a report should be submitted based on the actual measurements. Regarding pothole-free roads and their improvement, the Chief Secretary directed that if there are any issues in this regard, a proposal should be submitted. He also directed that a site inspection of any roadway with respect to road improvement issues should be submitted.

He said that if any outstanding payments related to disaster management for JCB operators are pending in any district, ensure they are paid immediately. If funds are not available, submit a proposal to the Disaster Management Authority. Regarding the improvement of health services, the Chief Secretary directed that all proposals related to improving health services be submitted to the government. He also stated that if any government intervention is required regarding improving parking, they should be immediately notified and progress should be accelerated.

Regarding the Chief Minister’s announcements, the Chief Secretary stated that the feasibility of these announcements must be examined. Furthermore, if the department has the budget available to fulfill these announcements, it should be utilized optimally and only if additional demands are needed should proposals be made. Principal Secretaries RK Sudhanshu, LL Fanai, and R Meenakshi Sundaram, Special Chief Secretary Ranjit Sinha, along with various secretaries, the Commissioner of Kumaon Division, the District Magistrate and district-level officers were present in the meeting virtually.
