Dehradun: Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan reviewed the Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission (PM-ABHIM) and Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana at the Secretariat on Wednesday. During the meeting, the Chief Secretary took detailed information from the officials regarding the schemes.
The Chief Secretary directed the officials to prepare the Block Public Health Unit, District Integrated Public Health Laboratory (DIPHL) and Critical Care Block under the Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission (PM-ABHIM) and start operations soon. He said that a time-bound action plan should be presented for completing the construction work of all these units and starting their operations. He also directed monitoring at the state and district level for the timely operation of the schemes. He directed that the Chief Medical Officers should monitor these units on a weekly basis. Also, the utility certificates of the units whose work has been completed should be submitted to the Government of India soon.
The Chief Secretary said that maximum number of beneficiaries should be registered under the Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana. He said that the pending applications of PM Vishwakarma at the District Implementation Committee and ULB level should be disposed of soon. Also, continuous monitoring should be done to provide maximum benefits to the artisans. Also, emphasis should be laid on selling handloom and handicraft products through e-commerce platform under the Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana. He said that arrangements should be made to provide stalls for the state’s products in Unity Malls of other states as well.
On this occasion, Principal Secretary R. Meenakshi Sundaram, Secretary R. Rajesh Kumar, Vinay Shankar Pandey, Additional Secretary Vijay Kumar Jogdande and Mrs. Swati Bhadauria along with other senior officers were present.
