Dehradun: Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan reviewed the progress of development works at tourist sites across the state at the Secretariat on Friday. The Chief Secretary took detailed information on the progress of development works at Jageshwar Dham, Mahasu Devta, Jadung, Mana, and Niti Timmersain.
The Chief Secretary directed officials to continuously monitor the work to ensure its completion within the stipulated timeframe. He directed that a progress chart be prepared, specifying the completion dates for each stage, from the start of work.
The Chief Secretary urged the authorities to expedite the process of land transfer and acquisition. He also urged that the number of workers be increased if necessary to ensure the timely completion of the new footbridge at Kainchi Dham and the festival ground at Jadung.
Secretary Dhiraj Singh Garbyal, Dehradun District Magistrate Savin Bansal, Additional Secretary Abhishek Ruhela, and other senior officials were present on the occasion.
