Dehradun: During a meeting held at the Secretariat on Friday, Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan directed departments to establish outcome indicators. He stated that the departments’ progress in their respective areas of work should be included in the outcome indicators, reflecting the progress made by them compared to previous years. He stated that this would allow for the evaluation of departmental plans and provide insight into the direction the department is moving.
The Chief Secretary stated that the Key Outcome Indicator (KOI) should be determined to assess the outcomes of the schemes implemented by the department.
