Chief Secretary held a meeting regarding transfer of land for construction of residential and non-residential buildings of district and subordinate courts, family courts etc.

Dehradun: Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan held a meeting with the District Magistrates through video conferencing at the Secretariat on Monday regarding the transfer of land for the construction of residential and non-residential buildings of district and subordinate courts, family courts etc. The Chief Secretary directed the District Magistrates of Pauri, Haridwar, Rudraprayag and Dehradun to identify and transfer land for residential and non-residential buildings of district courts soon.

Along with this, the Chief Secretary held a meeting with the District Magistrates regarding the successful and transparent conduct of the graduate level examination proposed by the Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission on September 21, 2025. He directed to make all the arrangements foolproof for conducting the examination with transparency.

The Chief Secretary directed to ensure arrangements for keeping the confidential material under double lock, CCTV and surveillance of security guards. He said that before the examination, intensive checking campaigns should be ensured on the borders of sensitive districts, monitoring of suspicious people and coaching institutes involved in copying related activities.

On this occasion, Principal Secretary L. Fanai, R. Meenakshi Sundaram, Special Chief Secretary Amit Sinha, Chairman UKSSSC G. S. Martolia, Secretary Shailesh Bagauli, Nitesh Kumar Jha, Dilip Jawalkar, Dr. BVRC Purushottam, Ravinath Raman, Chandresh Kumar Yadav, Dr. V. Shanmugam, Dr. Neeraj Khairwal, Vinay Shankar Pandey, Deependra Kumar Chaudhary and other senior officers and District Magistrates and District Judges from the districts were present.
