Chief Secretary Radha Raturi inspected Shri Kedarnath Dham, reviewed the reconstruction and development works

Debhradun: Chief Secretary of Uttarakhand Smt Radha Raturi reached Shri Kedarnath Dham on Thursday and reviewed the reconstruction and development works.  She  instructed to complete all mandatory works before the opening of the portals of Shri Kedarnath Dham on 10th May. While giving instructions to use additional workers and resources for this, she said that special care should be taken to ensure that the devotees do not face any kind of  inconvenience .

Chief Secretary Smt Raturi inquired from the District Magistrate and PWD officials about the reconstruction and development works currently underway. After which, while reviewing the construction works including Mandakini- Saraswati Ghat, Guest House, Hospital, Astha Path, Kedarnath Temple Complex, She directed to complete all the works before the set deadline. She instructed the concerned departments to employ additional labour on other essential works including Astha Path and Water ATM and to complete all the works before the start of the Yatra so that the devotees do not face any problem. Along with this, She instructed the District Magistrate to expedite the construction works by using more resources and complete the corridor work from Gol Chabutra to the temple complex speedily . She also instructed all the officials and concerned agencies to take full care of the quality of the material being used in the construction works. Apart from this, She also asked to take care of the facilities of the devotees and make every possible effort to make the Yatra smooth and well organized. At around 10:30, the Chief Secretary left for Badrinath from the helipad.

DGP Shri Abhinav Kumar, Secretary Shri Sachin Kurve and other concerned officials were present.
