Chief Secretary reviews ITDA, directs preparation for creating websites and apps for all departments

Dehradun: Chief Secretary Anand Vardhan reviewed the Information Technology Development Agency (ITDA) at the Secretariat on Thursday. The Chief Secretary directed that ITDA will function as a single-window agency for all services provided to departments related to information technology.

The Chief Secretary said that ITDA is responsible for developing websites and apps for all departments. For this, ITDA needs to enhance its capabilities. He directed that State Data Center 2.0 be prepared expeditiously.

The Chief Secretary said that budgetary provisions should also be made to strengthen ITDA. He directed ITDA to ensure that the systems are in place to meet the requirements of the departments for the next 5-10 years.

The Chief Secretary directed ITDA to prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) soon for the development and operation of departmental websites and apps.

On this occasion, Secretary Shailesh Bagoli, Nitesh Kumar Jha, and Dilip Jawalkar, along with senior officers from various departments, were present.
