Dehradun: Anchor Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami addressed the annual function of Sainik School Ghorakhal through virtual medium. During this, the Chief Minister made 2 announcements related to training and sports infrastructure in Sainik School. He said that a stadium with synthetic track will be built in Sainik School and a football field with artificial grass will also be constructed. Congratulating the school for making a record of giving maximum entries in the National Defense Academy (NDA) for the 10th time and winning the Defense Minister Trophy for the 10th time, the Chief Minister said that this historic school prepares hardworking, dedicated, disciplined and determined citizens of the nation and society. He said that after getting education from this school, many people are serving in high positions in the country’s army and other fields today. The CM said that the state government is committed to the welfare of the soldiers and the families of the martyrs. We have increased the ex-gratia amount given to the families of martyrs by 5 times. The family of the martyr should be given a government job or they should be given concessions like ex-servicemen. A military shrine is being built to commemorate the sacrifices of the state.
