Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami approved several schemes for important public welfare and security-related works in various districts of the state. The Chief Minister said that the state government is continuously working for the all-round development of the state in accordance with the spirit of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, and Sabka Prayas.”
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami approved a scheme worth ₹495.77 lakh (four crore ninety-five lakh seventy-seven thousand only) for the replacement of damaged sewer lines in the Laxman Chowk area leading to Jhajhra, under the South Branch of Dehradun district, and for the reconstruction work up to Barrage Mehalgaon Chowk.
In addition, the Chief Minister approved a scheme worth ₹243.14 lakh (two crore forty-three lakh fourteen thousand only) for sewer line replacement in Shraddha Enclave under Pithuwala branch of Dehradun district and construction of STP and network work in the entire enclave and Priyadarshini Enclave.
The Chief Minister approved a scheme worth ₹1455.09 lakh (fourteen crore fifty-five lakh nine thousand only) for flood protection work for the safety of the Indira Gandhi International Sports Complex (Stadium) in the Gaulapar area of Haldwani development block of Nainital district. The Chief Minister also approved the release of 40 percent of the funds, amounting to ₹582.00 lakh (five crore eighty-two lakh only), for its first phase.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh approved grant funds to various districts from the State Disaster Relief Fund. In which Champawat has been sanctioned Rs. 20.00 crore, Udham Singh Nagar Rs. 5.00 crore, Tehri Garhwal Rs. 10.00 crore, Director, ULBMSO Dehradun Rs. 0.50 crore, Dehradun (for other items) Rs. 1.41 + 0.75 crore, thus the total sanctioned amount is ₹ 37.66 crore (Thirty-seven crore sixty-six lakh only).
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has given approval for preparing a Feasibility Report (PPR) under the National Earthquake Risk Reduction Programme (NERMP) run by the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) and submitting it to the Government of India.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said, “We are determined to ensure that Uttarakhand’s development reaches every village and every home. The safety of the state’s citizens, the expansion of infrastructure, and protection from natural disasters are our top priorities. These schemes will not only strengthen infrastructure but will also significantly improve people’s living standards. The government is committed to implementing every scheme with transparency and prompt implementation.”
