CM Dhami approved an amount of Rs 50 crore for the repair of roads, footpaths, culverts, drinking water lines

Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has approved an amount of Rs.50 crore for the works to be done under the disaster head in the state. With this amount, works will be done on damaged roads, culverts, drinking water lines etc. in all the districts. Under the approved amount, an amount of Rs 30 crore has been provided to the Public Works Department for roads and Rs 20 crore for drinking water.

Chief Minister Dhami has ordered all the District Magistrates that in view of the impending monsoon season, all the work should be completed in a timely manner. No laxity should be shown at any level in this. The work of repairing footpaths and culverts should be done on priority. It should also be compulsorily seen whether the drinking water lines and irrigation canals are in working condition or not.
