CM Dhami called Priyanka Negi, the youngest village head of Uttarakhand, and congratulated her on the victory

Dehradun: This time in the Uttarakhand three-tier Panchayat elections, the villagers have handed over the command of the village to the youth. The villagers of the village which has been adopted by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami have expressed their trust in 21-year-old Priyanka Negi and elected her as their village head. On becoming the head of Adarsh Gram Sarkot, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami spoke to Priyanka Negi on the phone on Friday and congratulated and wished her.

CM Dhami said that Adarsh Gram Sarkot has to be made a very good village. Not only this, while talking on the phone, CM Dhami also invited Priyanka Negi to come to Dehradun and meet him. The CM said that Adarsh Gram Sarkot has been selected as a model village of Uttarakhand.

In such a situation, the intention of the government is that all the villages of Uttarakhand should be like Adarsh Gram Sarkot. For this, the CDOs of all the districts or any of their officers will visit Adarsh Gram Sarkot for two days each. The CM told Priyanka that most of the work in the village has been done. In such a situation, the work that is left is also to be completed. Along with this, people have to be connected with employment, self-employment and the work of mothers and sisters also has to be taken forward.

At the same time, the CM said that Priyanka Negi has become the head of Adarsh Gram Sarkot. Similarly, the villagers have expressed confidence in all the youth living in normal conditions and circumstances. In such a situation, the public expects from all these public representatives that they should work for the people.

The CM said that the election of the youth to this post not only reflects a strong democracy, but also symbolizes the power of the mother power and the ability of the youth. He also said that together we will ensure the all-round development and progress of Sarkot village and other villages of the state will also be developed on the lines of Adarsh Gram Sarkot.

Priyanka Negi’s village Sarkot comes in Gairsain development block of Chamoli district. Her village is near Bhararisain Vidhan Sabha Bhawan.
