Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami flagged off the ‘Namo Yuva Run’, organized as part of the ‘Seva Pakhwada’ program, at Ghantaghar, Dehradun, on Sunday. On this occasion, he participated in the run with the participants and encouraged the youth.
The Chief Minister said that the ‘Namo Yuva Run’ is not just a sporting event, but a symbol of energy, health, discipline, and patriotism among the youth. He said that such activities are providing new direction and widespread public participation to the ‘Fit India Movement’ initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Chief Minister called upon the youth present to ensure their participation in nation-building by adopting a healthy and active lifestyle.
The Chief Minister said that inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the spirit of service, dedication, and public welfare is gaining new momentum across the country, and through the ‘Seva Pakhwada’, every section of society is getting an opportunity to make positive contributions. The Chief Minister said that such events make the energy of the youth more meaningful in the national interest.
On this occasion, Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi, Rajya Sabha MP and BJP State President Mahendra Bhatt, Rajya Sabha MP Naresh Bansal, MLA Khajan Das, other public representatives, program coordinator Vipul Maidoli, co-coordinator Devendra Bisht etc. were present.
