Haridwar: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami was on a visit to Haridwar today, where he inaugurated schemes worth Rs 54 crore 31 lakh including the newly built City Sports Complex. At the same time, the CM also laid the foundation stone of about 199 development schemes of Municipal Corporation Haridwar. On this occasion, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reiterated the investigation on madrasas and said that orders have been given to investigate the madrasas. Said that orders have also been given to take strict action against illegal madrasas and those whose past record is not good.
UCC will be implemented in January 2025
Speaking on the incident of Delhi Parliament, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that Congress people are not able to work democratically, so they are carrying out such incidents, which he condemns. He said that the public is watching everything. Be it Haryana elections or Maharashtra elections, the public has completely rejected them. Due to which the opposition is doing such work out of frustration. Speaking on UCC, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that this is the resolution of BJP, we had promised the public in the 2022 general elections and now UCC will be implemented in Uttarakhand in January 2025.
Inauguration and foundation stone laying of schemes
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami today laid the foundation stone of many newly constructed schemes from various items in Haridwar district. This mainly includes a total of 239 schemes including the City Sports Complex built from the Mining Trust Fund. With the inauguration of schemes prepared at a total cost of Rs 54 crore 31 lakh 55 thousand, the general public will start getting its benefits. CM inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of a total of 50 schemes to be done from the Mining Trust Fund. Among these, there is a plan to develop Government Primary School, Saliyar as a model school at a cost of Rs 8 crore 88 lakh. People will get benefits in the coming time
Similarly, the works done by Haridwar Roorkee Development Authority HRDA mainly include the development work of the newly built City Sports Complex and Maa Mansa Devi Welcome Gate located at Bhalla. Among the works done under the City Sports Complex, cricket practice pitch and box cricket have been prepared for 236.51 lakhs. Similarly, lawn tennis court whose cost is 307.75 lakhs.
Development will be done with the scheme of crores
The cost of futsal court is 165.00 lakhs, the total cost of squash court and gym is 976.74 lakhs. Badminton court has been prepared for 742.93 lakhs. The construction work of Maa Mansa Devi Welcome Gate has been completed with Rs 20.00 lakhs. These schemes worth 21 crores 16 lakhs will be inaugurated. Similarly, the foundation stone of a total of 183 schemes will be laid in various bodies of the district. Their total cost is approved as 24 crores 27 lakhs 55 thousand rupees.
