CM Dhami had approved Rs 57 crore for Singtali bridge in Yamkeshwar, Bridge Struggle Committee expressed gratitude to Dhami

Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami had given financial and administrative approval of Rs 57 crore for the much-awaited Singtali bridge connecting Garhwal and Kumaon. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, in the sequence of his earlier announcement, had provided important financial and administrative approval for this proposed bridge in Yamkeshwar Assembly of Pauri district. The total length of the proposed Singtali bridge on the river Ganga is 150 meters, in this sequence, the Singtali Motor Bridge Sangharsh Samiti, under the leadership of MLA Yamkeshwar Renu Bisht, met CM Pushkar Singh Dhami and expressed gratitude for providing financial approval for the construction of the bridge. The committee has said that this bridge connecting Garhwal – Kumaon was pending for 20 years. Now the Chief Minister has approved Rs 57 crore for the construction of the bridge. This has raised hopes of opening new doors of development in the area. The committee has also requested the Chief Minister to perform Bhoomi Pujan for the construction of the bridge soon. Committee Chairman Uday Singh Negi was also present on this occasion.
