Dehradun: Appointment letters have been handed over to 72 Assistant Professors selected from Uttarakhand Public Service Commission under the Higher Education Department. A program was organized on Tuesday at the Main Seva Sadan located at the Chief Minister’s residence to give appointment letters to the selected Assistant Professors. During the organized program, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami handed over the appointment letters to the selected 72 Assistant Professors. All these Assistant Professors have been selected for Sociology, Economics and English subjects.
During the program, CM Dhami also inaugurated the portal for giving an amount of Rs 50,000 to the meritorious students of the state in the National Institutional Ranking Framework Institute. At the same time, CM Dhami congratulated all these assistant professors and said that teachers play an important role in making the future of children better. In such a situation, all these teachers will work to improve the future of children by performing better in their field of work. Apart from this, these teachers will run awareness campaigns against the evils of society. Along with the use of modern technology in the field of education and employment-oriented education, they will also give good values to the children. The CM said that in the last three years, many decisions related to the public have been taken. The CM said that more than 16 thousand youths have been given government jobs. While the recruitment process is also going on fast to fill the vacant posts in the departments. The youth of the state have to be prepared in such a way that they not only become job seekers, but can also become job providers to the youth. For this, Devbhoomi Udyamita Yojana has been started in the state. CM Dhami said that along with this, the National Education Policy-2020 has been implemented in the state. The government is continuously working to make the education system better and effective. The CM said that work is being done in all areas of construction of infrastructure, expansion of technology in the state’s government colleges and universities.
20 model colleges are being established in the state. Meritorious students are being given scholarships every month. Incentives are also being given to researchers to promote research. Under the Gaurav Yojana, a target has also been set to provide banking, financial three-tier training and placement of 05 thousand students to the students studying in higher educational institutions of the state.
