Dehradun: After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, India has taken some big steps against Pakistan, in which one is the order to return citizens to leave India immediately. Regarding this, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami held a meeting at his official residence on Saturday 26 April. During this, CM Dhami directed the high officials to identify the Pakistani citizens residing in the state and start the process of sending them back with immediate effect.
Along with this, CM Dhami said that strict action should be taken against the people taking advantage of government schemes on the basis of forged documents by expediting their identification. Officers were also instructed to expedite the verification campaign going on in the state. Penalty should be imposed on people who do not get the tenants verified.
Apart from this, in view of the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, CM Dhami directed the officials to tighten the security arrangements on the Chardham Yatra route. CM Dhami said that the Chardham Yatra in the state is going to start from the scheduled time i.e. 30th April. In such a situation, if any suspicious person is seen on the travel route, immediate action should be taken against him.
The Chief Minister has also appealed to the general public that if any suspicious person or activity is seen around you, then immediately inform the nearest police station. Apart from this, he directed the officials to issue toll free number to give information about suspicious activities.
Let us tell you that on April 22, terrorists targeted tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. 26 people were killed in this terrorist attack. Since this incident, there is anger against Pakistan in the whole country. At the same time, the Government of India has taken many actions against Pakistan.
