Haldwani: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami arrived in Haldwani on Monday and held a coordination meeting with the BJP’s social media in-charges and organization officials. During the meeting, the Chief Minister called on the social media team to actively engage with the public to make the “Swadeshi Apnao Abhiyan” launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi more effective.
Chief Minister Dhami stated that Prime Minister Modi has taken a major step towards promoting indigenous products by reducing GST rates. He added that awareness programs are being organized continuously to spread this campaign widely in the state.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister urged the social media team to play a key role in promoting the use of indigenous products through digital platforms, so that the message of “Swadeshi in every home, Swadeshi in every home” reaches the general public.
Speaking to the media, Chief Minister Dhami said that this year’s Chardham Yatra in the state was historic and well-organized. He informed that for the convenience of passengers, a new helicopter service policy (SOP) has been formulated with the help of the central government, which will enable air services to reach remote areas of the state.
The Chief Minister stated that the state government is taking every possible step for the convenience and development of the public and is rapidly progressing towards the goal of a “developed Uttarakhand.”
