Doiwala: Sanskrit Education Department Uttarakhand has declared 13 villages in 13 districts of the state as Sanskrit Grams for the promotion and universalization of Sanskrit. Under this, on Sunday, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the Sanskrit Gram in Bhogpur as well as the program by connecting Sanskrit Grams established in other 12 districts through virtual system.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that he has sympathies with those who lost their loved ones in the disaster in Uttarkashi and the government stands with them. He said that rehabilitation program is being run in the disaster affected area. At the same time, work is being done at a fast pace to bring all the arrangements for the victims back on track.
At the same time, he congratulated everyone on World Culture Day and said that today is a historic occasion, where the dreams of Prime Minister Narendra Modi are being realized. Today, Adarsh Sanskrit villages have been established in 13 districts, where all the work will be done in Sanskrit language and the promotion of culture and the propagation of culture will also be given a new form. Along with that, research work will also be done in Sanskrit. He said that Sanskrit needs to be expanded by not limiting it to worship and we all have to come forward to promote Sanskrit. He said that Sanskrit has been given the status of second language in the state.
CM Dhami said that, to keep the Sanskrit language moving forward with our coming generation, 13 Sanskrit villages have been started in 13 districts. Under this, schools, buildings and literature will also be available. The children coming from this will communicate in Sanskrit language.
Apart from this, CM Dhami has provided an amount of Rs 9 crore for the security wall and other works of Mahadev Khale in Rani Pokhari of Doiwala. Let us tell you that Mahadev Khala of Rani Pokhari comes in its fierce form during the rainy season and causes heavy damage. The cultivation and land of the farmers get ruined and its water enters the houses. This problem had persisted for many years. MLA Doiwala Brij Bhushan Gerola thanked Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami for approving the amount of Rs 9 crore for security work and other works.
