Arriving with my mother this morning at Tundi-Baramon in my ancestral area of Kanalichhina with my mother was a deeply emotional moment. This is the land where I spent my childhood, first attended school, and where the rich blend of village affection, culture, and traditions shaped my personality. Upon arriving at the village, the affection, blessings, and unwavering love of the elders filled my heart with emotion. Many elders still call me by my childhood name. This feeling of belonging is beyond words. The smiles of the children and young people brought back to life all the memories that taught me values and inspired me to move forward.
