CM Dhami inspects Agniveer recruitment training center in Dehradun, interacts with and encourages youth preparing for Agniveer recruitment.

Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami today inspected the Agniveer recruitment training center run by the Youth Welfare and Provincial Armed Constabulary Department and the Sports Department at the Provincial Armed Constabulary Directorate, Raipur (Dehradun). During this time, he took a thorough look at the training arrangements.

The Chief Minister interacted directly with the youth preparing for Agniveer recruitment and gathered information about their training experiences, daily routines, and challenges. He also asked the youth about the facilities they felt they needed during the training.

During the inspection, the Chief Minister observed the physical training, running exercises, sports activities, and other basic facilities available at the training center. He instructed the officials to ensure that all facilities provided to the youth meet high-quality standards.

Chief Minister Dhami said that the state government is providing free and quality training to the youth preparing for Agniveer recruitment so that they can be selected to serve the country with complete confidence.

Encouraging the youth, the Chief Minister himself participated in the sports activities organized at the training center and interacted with the youth, giving them a message to move forward with discipline, hard work, and a positive attitude.

The Chief Minister also instructed the officials to update the training programs from time to time and to further empower the youth physically and mentally with the help of expert trainers.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said, “The Agniveer scheme is a golden opportunity for the youth of the country. Our government’s effort is that the youth of Uttarakhand become self-reliant along with serving the country through this scheme. Providing every possible facility and guidance to the youth is our priority.”

The Chief Minister said that through the Agniveer scheme, youth are being provided with the opportunity to serve in all three branches of the country’s armed forces. This scheme develops patriotism, discipline, leadership qualities, and self-confidence among the youth. By receiving military training at a young age, the youth not only contribute to the security of the country but also acquire useful skills in every aspect of life. He said that the state government believes that Agniveer training strengthens young people physically as well as mentally. Through rigorous training, a disciplined routine, and teamwork, young people develop decision-making abilities and a sense of responsibility, which brightens their future.

The Chief Minister said that young people trained under the Agniveer scheme also become capable of employment and self-employment in various sectors after their service period. The skills acquired during military training, such as discipline, time management, leadership, and technical proficiency, provide them with better opportunities in the private and public sectors.

The officers present on the occasion said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, the state government is ensuring that more and more youth from Uttarakhand can benefit from the Agniveer scheme. For this, free training, better resources, experienced trainers, and modern facilities are being provided in the state so that the youth of the state can showcase their talent at the national level. Special Principal Secretary Amit Sinha, Additional Secretary Dr. Ashish Chauhan, and senior officers of the Sports and Youth Welfare Department and the Provincial Armed Constabulary were present on this occasion.
