Champawat: The Chief Minister stated that senior citizens embody the experience, knowledge, and values of society. He stated that our elders are the guiding pillars of society. Their experience and blessings will enable Champawat to become an ideal district, and from an ideal Champawat, the path to an ideal Uttarakhand will be paved.
The Chief Minister stated that development projects worth more than ₹100 crore have been completed in the Sipti area of Champawat district alone, while many more are in progress throughout the district. He stated that out of the 306 announcements made by him so far, 196 have been completed, while work on the remaining is progressing rapidly.
The Chief Minister stated that Adarsh Champawat is not just a district, but a strong step towards building an “Adarsh Uttarakhand.” The Chief Minister informed that the construction of the Science Center in the district has been completed, the new campus of Soban Singh Jeena University has been inaugurated, and Champawat has also been included in the Smart City Mission. The Chief Minister said that work is progressing rapidly on important projects such as the Purnagiri Ropeway Project, the Sharda Corridor, and the Wedding Destination Uttarakhand Scheme.
The senior citizens present at the conference warmly welcomed the Chief Minister and said that the trust with which Champawat elected him as MLA by giving him over 93 percent of the votes is now visible on the ground in the form of development works. He said that this support will reach 100 percent in the future.
The senior citizens appreciated the improvements taking place in the areas of education, health, social security, and Ayurvedic medicine manufacturing in the district. They also expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for resolving pension-related issues and expressed hope that the government will continue to work with the same sensitivity in the future.
On this occasion, officials Shyam Narayan Pandey, Anil Dabbu, Shankar Koranga, BJP District President Govind Samant, District Panchayat President Anand Adhikari, Municipal Council President Mrs. Prema Pandey, Block Chief Mrs. Achala Bohra, Barakot Block Chief Mrs. Seema Arya, BJP State Minister Nirmal Mehra, former MLA Puran Singh Fartyal, along with public representatives, intellectuals, senior citizens, and officials were present.
