Champawat: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami formally released the ‘Adarsh Champawat’ logo on Thursday at the Cooperative Fair held in Tanakpur. This logo is based on Chief Minister Dhami’s vision and vision, taking concrete steps towards making Champawat a ‘model district’ of governance, development, public participation, and environmental balance.
Official Explanation of the Logo
Historical Temple Symbol — The temple depicted at the center of the logo symbolizes Champawat’s ancient cultural and religious heritage. It conveys the message that our faith, tradition, and glorious history will always be the foundation in our journey towards development.
Greenery and Mountainous Background — The greenery and mountainous aura depicted in the logo reflect the natural beauty and environmental richness of the region. This indicates that the development of “Adarsh Champawat” will be sustainable, environmentally friendly, and nature-conservation-based.
Gears (mechanical wheels) — The gears symbolize the growing industrial and technological innovation in the district. This indicates that the government aims to encourage not only traditional development but also employment, startups, entrepreneurship, and technological advancement.
Youth rafting in the river — This scene symbolizes adventure tourism, youth empowerment, and sportsmanship. It reflects Chief Minister Dhami’s vision of building a self-reliant Champawat by integrating youth power into the mainstream of development.
Flowers blooming on both sides — These flowers symbolize beauty, peace, balance, and social harmony. They indicate that development will be called “Adarsh” only when it is sensitive, inclusive, and based on human values.

Following the event, Chief Minister Dhami visited the residence of senior businessman, late Dinesh Chandra Auli, and his son, Ankur Auli, at their Cement Road residence and offered condolences. He prayed to God for the peace of the departed souls and for the bereaved family to endure this grief.
